Prior to founding D&A in 1994, Mr. Dadoo had an 11 year career as an independent consultant who advised and introduced global investment banks and foreign multinationals on M&A and JV transactions in Mexico. Concurrently, he founded and managed a retail chain of bakery and convenience stores that grew to 11 units exclusively through strong internal cash generation. Such macro and micro business experiences have provided him with a distinctive, pragmatic perspective in approaching investment banking projects.

Between his college and graduate degrees, he worked at General Motors Mexico as an Industrial Engineer, rising to acting Superintendent.

Mr. Dadoo holds an MBA degree from Stanford GSB and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also holds an AD-2 Senior Management Degree from IPADE. Mr. Dadoo graduated from the American School in Mexico City.

He has lived and was educated in Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, and the US. He participates as Board Member for several privately-held and public companies, as well as educational and community institutions in Mexico.

For 10 years, Mr. Dadoo was a pro bono professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship at Universidad Iberoamericana. He is actively involved in various youth and community organizations.

Until 2004, he represented BBVA Bancomer and other major Mexican Financial Institutions in a wide range of operational and financial restructuring projects for its debtors and investments, either as CEO, Board Member, or consultant to the individual companies. These have included SurtiHogar, Salinas y Rocha, Calzados Canadá, Buró de Crédito, and Hotel Investments.

Previously, over a 12-year period, he was CEO of each of the business units of Grupo Femsa having successfully achieved the objective to restructure their operations and significantly improve their profitability. These business units included the Beer, Packaging, Hotel, Processed Food, Retail, and Soft Drink (Coca-Cola FEMSA) divisions.

From 1976 – 1980, he was CEO of Lance, the country’s 2nd largest biscuit and pasta manufacturer. He executed its operational turn-around and later unsolicited sale to Purina. In addition, from 1959 – 1976, he was with Pfizer as Country Manager in Mexico, and Peru, as well as in various management positions in Argentina.

He held a M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Bombay University.

Mr. Dadoo actively served in various business advisory and community Boards. He was also a guest lecturer on management strategy at the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Ms. Lascurain joined the firm as an Intern in February 2016. She holds an MBA degree from London Business School and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana.

Mr. González joined the firm as an Analyst in March 2017. He holds an MBA degree from Oxford University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana.

His experience includes projects in: aviation services, construction materials, financial institutions, food & beverage, pharma commercialization & manufacturing, real estate, restaurant chains, retail, technology services, and automobile dealerships.

Mr. Fuentes joined the firm as an Intern in October 2019. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana.

His experience includes projects in: food & beverage, automobile dealerships, locks & cabinet hardware, retail, electricity, and construction materials.

In November 2021, he completed the Cozumel Iron Man.

Mr. Gómez has served the firm as the Business Development Associate in the Central American region since 2009.

He has developed an extensive international senior experience in Commercial, Investment, and Retail Banking. He began his career as a Banker in 1979, when he joined First Chicago Mexico, now part of J.P. Morgan Chase, retiring in 2005, after having managed a vast number of projects in Mexico, the United States, Spain, and Great Britain.

He was the project leader in the creation of Banco Walmart México, the first Walmart Bank, starting from the ground and growing it to 200 in-store bank units, serving as its first Managing Director.

He holds an MBA from INCAE Business School, a Harvard sponsored University in Central America, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.

 

Sergio Rojas Sergio Rojas. External Associate.

Mr. Rojas joined the firm as an Analyst in September, 2012. He holds an EMBA from the Haas School at UC Berkeley and a B.S. in Business Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.

His experience includes projects in: advertising agencies, agribusiness financing, auto auctions, automotive dealerships, construction materials, dairy products, drugstores, education, food & beverage, glass containers, healthcare, land oil rigs, personal care, plumbing materials distribution, retail, software development, and writing supplies.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rojas was an Analyst at J.P. Morgan México.

He is currently the Head of Strategic Planning and Innovation for La Haus proptech.

 

Carlos NeuhausCarlos Neuhaus. External Associate - Peru.

Mr. Neuhaus's prestige has translated into an unparalleled senior level network amongst private and public decision makers in Peru, most recently as the President of the Organization Committee of the Pan American Games in 2019.

Mr. Neuhaus has vast experience in the financial and real estate sectors. He currently heads a dynamic shopping mall real estate development group, being on the Advisory Board of the International Council of Shopping Mall Centers.

He has developed an extensive Board of Directors practice - including Joint Ventures with leading foreign strategic players - in the Banking, Energy & Mining, Industrial, and Retail sectors. Currently, he sits on the Board of Banco Interamericano de Finanzas, Repsol's La Pampilla refinery, among others.

He holds an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird University and a B.A. in Business from Universidad de Lima. He also holds a post graduate Diploma in Development and Public Finance from Cambridge University.

 

Ramesh AgrawalRamesh Agrawal. External Associate - Peru.

Mr. Agrawal has collaborated closely with our firm for over 20 years, introducing potential transactions as well as executing the local work, contributing his experience in corporate finance and advisory in Peru. He is currently a Principal at Prime Capital Advisors, a local investment banking firm.

He has participated and led numerous capital raising and debt structuring transactions for several of the most important Peruvian and South American corporations. Prior to this, and over a 6-year period, he was the Investment Head for Odebrecht in Peru, co-responsible in the identification, negotiation, and financing for the group's infrastructure projects. He was also the Finance Manager for Trasbase Olmos and for H2Olmos Water and Irrigation Project. Between his college and graduate degrees, he worked for 4 years as the Corporate Finance Manager at Arthur Andersen / E&Y.

Mr. Agrawal holds an M.S. degree in Finance from London Business School and a B.S. in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico.

Mr. Miranda has collaborated with our firm since 2014 for the Central American region. He holds an EMBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Economics with a focus in Finance from Purdue University.

He has participated in various assignments including: agribusiness, aviation services, construction materials, dairy products, food & beverage, and real estate.

He began his career in JP Morgan Asset Management - Global Investment Opportunities Group in New York covering Latin American clients. He is currently the Co-Head of WM Wealth Management in Miami.

Ms. Ernst has collaborated with our firm since 2017 for the Andean region. She holds a Master's Degree in Political Analysis from Universidad Complutense in Madrid and a B.A. in Communication and Journalism from Universidad Iberoamericana.

She is the current Senior Project Director at LC Branding & Innovation, in charge of coordination and direction of branding, innovation, and research in Latin American markets.
