Associate Position
The responsibilities of Associates include directing day-to-day client relationships and new business development.
Associates work on a variety of concurrent transactions by performing the integral execution of an engagement:
- Analyzing, preparing, and explaining operating, financial, and strategic considerations.
- Modeling detailed financial projections and valuations.
- Preparing compelling information memoranda, management presentations, integral valuations, and business development presentations.
- Coordinating, assembling, and performing thorough data rooms and business due diligences.
- Negotiating business and legal issues on LOIs, structures and closings.
- Coordinating outside specialists such as legal, accounting, auditing, tax, and environmental firms during closings.
- Leading and coaching Analysts who work on the team.

Qualifications: Undergraduate Engineering Major (preferred) and MBA from a leading foreign Business School.
Although graduating candidates will be considered, post-MBA experience of 2 – 4 years or more is equally desirable. Mexican, Central American or Peruvian legal residence is required.
Keen analytical capabilities and excellent verbal / written communications skills in both English and Spanish are a must.
The ideal candidate would have a demonstrated interest in quantitative analysis, a strong work ethic, attention to details, and ability to work independently or in small teams to deliver results in a fast-paced, often unstructured environment.
While no prior M&A, Corporate Finance, or Planning experience is required, candidates must a have strong ability and willingness to learn financial, project management, and business development skills rapidly.
An Associate should be motivated and outgoing, since long term career success is highly correlated with his/her ability for new business development.
Development: An Associate takes part in an intensive 2 - 4 year program, after which Principal Partnership candidacy is considered. Thus, the firm realigns the Associate’s interests with his/her capability to generate value to the firm from both the effectiveness of his/her managed projects and the ability to develop new business relationships.
